What is the clearance for cooling of FrigoPackE FMV?

Please make sure to allow for the following cooling spaces: Top & bottom: 10 cm Front: 1,5 cm Left & right: 0cm

Can I install FrigoPack outside an electrical enclosure?

FrigoPack may be installed outside an electrical enclosure only with suitable ambient conditions (low humidity, dust-free, etc.). It might be necessary to install additional parts (like covers) in order to adhere to given protection classes. Please refer to "Products/Accessories FrigoPack" for more Information.

Which types of pressure sensors or transmitters are to be used?

FrigoPack Frequency Inverters are only to be used with HUBA control pressure sensors or transmitters. Other makes and types of sensors must not be used.Please refer to "Products/Accessories FrigoPack" for information on permissible types.

Which types of temperature sensors are to be used?

FrigoPack Frequency Inverters are only to be used with HUBA control temperature sensors. Other makes and types of sensors must not be used. Please refer to "Products/Accessories FrigoPack" for information on permissible types.

Settings

How can I save parameter changes?

Changes will be saved automatically when leaving the parameter menu (press key 'E' several times).

How can I find out which Software version is installed in the Inverter?

Once set into operation the inverter enters the CUSTOM menu automatically after 2s. Use the arrow keys to read through parameters. C16 offers information on the software version used.

Why can't I change settings for minimum or maximum frequencies?

Changing Minimum and Maximum frequencies is Password-protected, please contact KIMO for help. This is protecting compressor and Inverter. Max/min frequency changes cannot be done when the compressor is in Operation. Remove the Signal "Enable" first, then enter Password and make changes.

OVERVOLTAGE or Code 1

Possible causes: - Supply voltage to high - Safety contactor not controlled correctly - Compressor motor defect Please refer to chapter "TRIPS, DIAGNOSIS, FAULT FINDING" of the relevant Quick Start Guide for hints.

UNDERVOLTAGE or Code 2

Possible causes: - Supply voltage to low - Phase of supply voltage missing - Safety contactor not controlled correctly - Compressor motor defect - Power section of FrigoPack faulty - Incorrect motor connection Please refer to chapter "TRIPS, DIAGNOSIS, FAULT FINDING" of the relevant Quick Start Guide for hints.

VDC RIPPLE

DESAT (OVER I)

MOTOR OVERTEMP or Ot

Possible causes: - Link TH1A-TH1B or MOT-TEMP missing - Connection to motor protection faulty - Compressor motor winding too hot Please refer to chapter "TRIPS, DIAGNOSIS, FAULT FINDING" of the relevant Quick Start Guide for hints.

OVERCURRENT oder OC or Code 3

EXTERNAL TRIP or Et or Code 5

Possible causes: - Safety contactor not controlled correctly - Safety device in safety circuit tripped or not controlled or wired correctly. - DC 24 V control voltage missing Please check wiring and safety circuit. Please refer to chapter "TRIPS, DIAGNOSIS, FAULT FINDING" of the relevant Quick Start Guide for hints.

INVERSE TIME or It or Code 6

Possible causes: - Compressor start aborted (liquid refrigerant in compressor, defect compressor?) - Incorrect size of FrigoPack inverter or motor connected in delta instead of star Please contact KIMO RHVACC.
